DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY RIGHTS

Of Paulaner Brauerei GmbH & Co. KG

Thank you for your interest in our website.  Protecting your privacy when processing your personal details is of the utmost concern to us. The Paulaner Brauerei GmbH & Co. KG will handle your data responsibly.

As a matter of course we adhere to statutory provisions in the collection, processing and usage of your data, in particular those of the German Data Protection Act [BDSG] and the German Broadcast Media Act [TMG]. But of course we are aware that for many people using the internet is cause for great concern how such protection applies in practice.

The data privacy statement below provides an overview of what data is collected, used, stored, and possibly passed on to third parties, also what security measures we employ for your privacy, and what right to information you have on the matter.

1. Collecting, processing and using personal data

On principle it is possible to visit our website without giving any details. We only store access data which are not associated to an individual, such as

  • the type and version of your browser,
  • the operating system used,
  • the website from which you came to us,
  • individual pages you call up,
  • date and time of your visit.

These data are stored separately from any personal data which you may enter and are used solely for the purposes of improving our internet presence and our services. We collect, process, and store your personal data which you may enter on the contact form on the website or in case you contact us by means of the e-mail address on the website. Your details are only used to respond to your query.
Furthermore we collect, process, and store your personal data only where you voluntarily provide these data when using services on the website (for example taking part in a competition, applying to visit the brewery). We use the personal data you provide, without a separate consent request, solely for the purposes of the service involved (thus for example to carry out the competition or to organize a brewery tour). When the procedure concerned is completed, your data is blocked for further usage, and after the lapse of a retention period, which may apply under relevant fiscal and commercial law, they will be deleted, unless you have otherwise expressly agreed for additional usage of your personal data.

2. Sharing individual-related data
When we hold competitions, we may transfer necessary personal data to a service provider who assists us in the implementation of the competition, for example to an agency or transport carrier contracted to dispatch the prizes. If such a data transfer is to occur, it will be pointed out in the conditions for participation.
